Dr. Ravi Patel is committed to delivering high-quality dental care with precision, efficiency, and a strong focus on patient comfort. With advanced training in restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dentistry, he provides a wide range of treatments designed to restore function, improve aesthetics, and support long-term oral health.
Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include root canal therapy, dental implants, and surgical procedures, where his attention to detail and steady hand help patients feel confident in their care. He is also experienced in cosmetic treatments such as professional teeth whitening, dental bonding, and porcelain veneers, helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles.
In addition to clinical care, Dr. Patel is passionate about innovation in dentistry. He regularly participates in continuing education and has been involved in training dentists across the country in chairside crown fabrication and digital dentistry, helping other providers incorporate advanced technology into their practices.
Dr. Patel also offers IV sedation dentistry, allowing patients to receive treatment in a calm, relaxed environment—especially helpful for those with dental anxiety or more complex treatment needs.
Education & Training
Dr. Patel earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Coaching from the University of South Carolina in 2012. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2019.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Patel regularly attends advanced training and specialty courses to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry and deliver the best possible care to his patients.
He also maintains ACLS and BLS certifications, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety during treatment.

Life Outside the Office
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel enjoys taking advantage of everything the Charleston area has to offer. He is a dedicated University of South Carolina Gamecocks fan and loves cheering on USC football.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, spending time on the water, or enjoying the outdoors around Charleston.
Dr. Patel sees patients at our Nexton and Daniel Island locations, where he enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
